Itinerary description
We did a traverse of Entravessada, coming up on the south side from Pla de l'Estany. Because of very low snow for February, we had to do some scrambling to climb up the SE Face. From the peak we followed the north ridge down (boot crampons and ice axe) before climbing down a snow gully to the NNW. We traversed round to the collada del Estanys Forcats and left the skis there. (With more snow you could climb part of the S face of Medacorba on skis. We followed the summer trail until we lost it under the snow. We climbed up on rock, descended on snow, with boot crampons and axes. The ski down was lovely, but involved some dodging of rock bands. Again, it would be easier with more snow cover. We had to walk down from Pla de l'Estany, we had stashed trainers at the snow line which made it easier.
