Itinerary description
Beautiful and interesting loop. Parking above Finhaut, skinning up the valley above La Lechere and then skinning up the south-west slope to the Col de Fenestral. (This also makes a nice descent.) The ski down the south-facing Comba Rossa is lovely, but requires you to downclimb the top of the couloir. We used crampons and axes to get down. A rope might be useful for some parties. With plentiful snow, you can ski direct all the way down, with low snow you can slide back down the road - as we did.
