Itinerary description
This is an easy peak that can be done in a couple of hours from El Bolson (or even a day from Bariloche if you drive early). However, if you need a place to stay, hiking up to the Refugio Piltriquitrón (40 min from the car park) works well, it's a lovely little place with a great view. We had poor snow but normally it should be down to the Refugio, at least. The climb is easy with nice views and the ski off is relaxed and fun. There are two other lower peaks nearby and various slopes that could extend your day. It is worth checking out the forests sculptures (Bosque Tallado) on the walk-in.
