Itinerary description
Britannia Hut to the Monte Rosa Hut, crossing the Adler Pass. This is the standard ski route. We did not rope on the glaciers as we had good visibility where it mattered and there was a track in place. At the end we took the high line - which involved bootpacking up to a rock ridge and then downclimbing (there are some chains in place to help). This line might not suit people without some climbing/scrambling experience. The lower line is less technical - but does involve more skinning up on the other side, and does need more snow.
