Itinerary description

(ENG): Located 25km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatky. Access once off the road is complicated by a river bed and later with a sled powered by a snowmobile.

We left the rescue team camp (located a bit above the normal camp).
The ascent follows the normal route of ascent. Being in an active crater with smoke and sulfur coming out of it all the time is incredible. The descent down the north face is impressive, in the part near the crater it is necessary to watch for the possible fall of stones. Cross the glacier carefully, keeping an eye on the crevasses. The couloir does not have steep slopes (maximum 35º), but it goes through an incredible place. The return to the camp is long.
