Itinerary description

From the Morskie Oko Refuge (1410m), we will cross the lake of the same name (by the center or the shore) and ascend by a ledge to the upper lake (1583m). After crossing the upper lake, we stand on very well maintained ramps through which we will gain height very quickly until we reach the base of the Northwest Rysy corridor above 2200m. The Corridor will be traced by its left edge, coinciding with the summer route where there are stretches that emerge chains. We will arrive at the pass and end of the corridor on the 2470m and we will make the last stretch to the top by mixed terrain not very difficult and secured with chains. In the descent we will follow the same route except if we ski the Northwest Corridor, in which case, we will always stay on the axis of the corridor instead of on its edge. After reaching the Morskie Oko Refuge, we will take the wide track that in 8 kms takes us to Palenica Białczańska, the entrance to the National Park of the High Tatras, and where there is a large parking lot with regular bus service to Zakopane.

Hola … ya se que hace tiempo de la ruta… pero estamos preparando viaje a polonia en mayo … y queriamos subir al Rysy …. En mayo que tal de nieve ?? Me puedes orientar donde buscar información ??

Hola:
No se si queréis ir al Rysy con esquís o andando. En cualquier caso en Mayo habrá nieve, aunque no sé si la suficiente para esquiar. Tampoco te puedo dar gran información. Nosotros mirábamos el parte de snowforecast de Zakopane para ver los espesores de nieve, y la webcam del refugio Morskie Oko para ver el aspecto de la montaña.
Te puedes valer de la info del Blog para consultar. Nosotros tampoco encontramos gran info, para tema de mapas etc, los compramos en Zakopane.
