da Realp salire direttamente i pendii in direzione Ovest, mirando tra un evidente baita e una specie di traliccio, tagliando i tornanti che portano al Furkapass. Quando il pendio diventa meno ripido proseguire sopra la strada per il passo, lasciare a sinistra l'Albergo Galenstock.
Poi ci si innalza piegando in direzione Nord, in traversata del pendio, girare per entrare sopra la valle del Tiefenbak appena imboccata il versante della valle si può piegare ancora a destra e salire direttamente allo Schafberg. Lasciare la salita sulla destra e proseguire, ci si abbassa sul lungo piano che porta con ultimo strappo finale al cucuzzolo della Capanna.
Per l'itinerario di discesa conviene risalire alla vicinissima cima del Monte Pecora - Schafberg poi lunga discesa a Realp su percorso non obbligato.

Realp go directly to the slopes westwards, aiming between an obvious hut and a kind of trellis, cutting the switchbacks that lead to the Furka Pass. When the slope becomes less steep to continue on the road to the pass, leave to the left the Hotel Galenstock.
Then there rises bending towards the north, in the crossing of the slope, turn to enter the valley of the above Tiefenbak just embarked on the side of the valley you can bend right again and go directly to the Schafberg. Leave the right and go uphill, you go down on the floor along with last final stretch that leads to the very top of the hut.
For the descent route should go back to the nearby summit of Mount Sheep - Schafberg then long descent to Realp of non-obligatory route.
