Itinerary description
A ski tour from Äkäslompolo to Kesänki, Hangaskurun laavu and back. Not to the top of Kesänki though due to lack of snow and poor visibility. From the tree line to Hangaskuru there was about 60-80cm of soft snow, but above the tree line only 0-40cm of snow with stones reaching all the way through the snow cover here and there. About 90% of the time and 99% of the length of the tour with skins under the skis.
