Itinerary description
This trail starts in a gravel pit 1km down the Rouche de Boule Rd just passed Gitsegukla.
It is just under 19km from highway to the Red Rose Mine and Camp.
There is one tricky hill climb around 8km that you may need to winch up.
A side by side should be able to make it to the base of the mountain below the camp, but the trail gets very narrow with and extreme drop of on your side, hiking up the trail is strongly suggested.
I was able to get within a few hundred feet from the camp on my quad, but this is extremely dangerous and even more dangerous going back down.
It took me 2 hours and 10 minutes to get from the highway to the upper camp with lots of stopping to take pictures and not rushing.
