Part of this trail is'nt accessible(7/20/17). Tried following it clockwise & the section north of Old Marmora Rd south of #7 is a goat path that looks like it hadn't had anyone on it in over a year. Very overgrown trail that 1/2 way between 7 & Old Marmora had a large metal gate across it. This looked like private property so we turned around & backtracked. Got back to the trail at Old Marmora Rd & sign said the bridge was out. Not sure if it is the small bridge over the river or the bridge(s) that cross between the 2 lakes. We are going to try coming up from the south to find out.
This looks like a great trail! Can anyone verify if the trail is still open? Is the bridge still washed out? Thanks for any feedback

the moira lake rail trestle is still closed due to structural failure .i suggest complaining openly on face book on there page Eastern Ontario Trails Alliance .
Does this trail require a permit? If so which one? Thanks
that track is known as the Nephton trail .but is actually the Peterboro county game preserve .it is crown land no permit required .do not go alone .the people in the ptbo trails run it frequently .
