Itinerary description
Take the number 7 bus from Oberstdorf to the Fellhornbahn cable car station (or further up the valley to Birgsau). The Fellhornbahn offers wonderful views but there are no wheelchair-compatible paths. The way back to Oberstdorf is very wheelchair-compatible, however, with a path parallel to but never directly on the roadside, partly along the river and through forests, all gently sloping downwards.
